SUCCESS IS NOTHING WITHOUT A PURPOSE

Harmony House was established by the founders of Insignia in 2009, as a day shelter for destitute children in India. Today, the charity provides 500 children with free education, clothing, food and medical care.

Our purpose beyond profit is rooted in making knowledge accessible to the under-privileged. Insignia works tirelessly for its children to benefit from free education, giving them the much-needed support to gain employment and shape a life that is not anchored to poverty.

Harmony House is registered in the UK and in India. It is a tribute and testament to the long-standing relationships we have built with our clients. Without their support, none of this would have been possible.

Gaurav founded Insignia in 2003, and stands as the visionary mastermind behind the world’s first brand enrichment company, specialising in travel and destination creation. As a creative protagonist, Gaurav has accumulated a formidable portfolio of achievements that has solidified his status as an internationally recognised leader in his field.

Based in Dubai for the past 22 years and previous to launching Insignia, Gaurav spent a decade in advertising at Lowe. He then took on the illustrious role of Head of Marketing for Hilton Worldwide in the Arabian Gulf between 1998 and 2002.

In 2014 Gaurav was noted as Indian Entrepreneur of the Year by Entrepreneur Middle East Magazine and has enjoyed a variety of accolades such as being listed at #47 in Arabian Business Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential Indians in the GCC. As much a philanthropist as an entrepreneur, Gaurav believes strongly in giving back and in 2009 set up Harmony House, a day shelter for the underprivileged in India with his wife Lucy Bruce.

In an eclectic career spanning almost 40 years, John Deykin has enjoyed senior roles across most of the disciplines in the communications industry. After working with some of the legends of Fleet Street as a graduate trainee at the Daily Express, he relocated to the Middle East, working in publishing houses like Al Hilal and Motivate, and the advertising agencies Bozell Worldwide and Caspian. He is however probably best known for his 12-year stewardship of the successful, home grown UAE-based branding agency TMH.

In addition to his responsibilities at Insignia, John is a non-executive director of the Edinburgh and San Francisco-based communications and events business 20/20 Productions, and is an advisor to the board of the UK’s art and educational publisher Akkadia Press.

John was appointed a GlobalScot by Scotland’s First Minister in 2007.

He has worked on developing successful brands within the hospitality industry and in his previous roles was the Regional Director of Marketing for Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts for over a decade.

He also worked with the InterContinental Hotels Group in Australia. With a penchant for detail, Rupert's expertise lies in innovating brand propositions, developing compelling marketing strategies that transcend media and deliver results. He has a passion for digital and social marketing initiatives and is a keen advocate of responsive design, typography and film.

Max is a hands-on problem solver and a team player. Whilst actively working on creative briefs, he is responsible for leading, motivating and inspiring the team, reassuring the highest level of creation is always reached and the pursuit of excellence never stops.

Haptic - Architects

Haptic Architects is a London, Oslo and Dubai-based practice, established in 2009.
The practice ethos is to design buildings and spaces that are rigorous in their pragmatism, elegantly composed and above all, have a focus on quality and craftsmanship.

Haptic, referring to the sense of touch, is a guiding force in the design process; striving to determine the haptical qualities for each project and how they benefit the buildings users. This translates in materiality, spatial relationships, light and the building's relationship with the site.

Much of the work is located in stunning locations and thus an acute awareness of the responsibilities to design outstanding pieces of architecture that sit precisely within - and are complementary to - the context within which they sit.
